Awakening Avatars Information

Awakening Avatars is a service group dedicated to the success of the virtual world Second Life. Our goal is to build community among experienced and new members and other SL Groups. We are an active group of all interests and skill levels working to help make Second Life the best virtual experience in the world. We are able to operate through the support and donations of SL residents - any Linden $ donations are gratefully accepted.

If you're an experienced SL'er, thank you for choosing to join us! Your involvement and contributions to Second Life are appreciated and we are pleased you joined.

Four main areas of our inWorld activitie are:

1) Commerce Development & Support via. SLExchange.com - eMarketplace -
If you are a new, or established content creator in Second Life, we can help showcase your products and store location through our Merchant Spotlight Program which is integrated through SLExchange.com

2) Sponsored Events Program - New Members & Established SL'ers -
We provide you resources, $500 L, publicity, organizational help, staff help, etc. for your events inWorld that we sponsor. (You do the event, not us). This helps experienced event people and those who are new to the fun SL world of event planning.

3) New Resident Support - we offer new SL residents with various resources to help get them up to speed . Let us know if you would like our folder of help information for new players.

4) Escrow Services - free via SLExchange.com - Escrow Services

We serve as a trusted, independent 3rd party intermediary to help secure all types of fiscal, business, intellectual, creative and confidential transactions throughout Second Life.


We have open enrollment - so if you would like to join us, you can join directly inWorld by clicking the Find button, then select ALL from the menu, and type AWAKE.

At the Awakening Avatars Group window, you will be able to join directly. One you've joined please IM me inGame at Merwan Marker (do not use the Group IM feature) and i will enter you into our communication network and send you your tee-Shirt and other useful information.
